As a Financial Administrator at DLR Group you will provide guidance and support to the Region related to finance and accounting.  This position involves both traditional accounting functions as well as pro-actively applying any lessons learned and analytics to help ensure our future financial success.

Position Summary: 

You will support the financial team with the responsibility for the overall financial function of the Region as it relates to daily operations and provide pro-active strategies and support for our project teams.

The successful candidate will:

  • Set up all of the project information in the accounting project management computer software, Deltek Vision. This includes all initial contract fee information and ongoing maintenance to ensure accurate project information throughout the life of the project. 
  • Review contracts to assure compliance.
  • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance requests
  • Perform ad-hoc reconciliations
  • Support the Financial team on a monthly basis to determine how much to bill, and coordinate billing and collections with client counterparts.
  • Work closely with the Financial Team to populate the 6 month company-wide revenue projections.
  • Coordinate with consultants, processing invoices for payment.
  • Assist multiple Project Managers and staff on a daily basis in regards to finance.
  • Run reports for Project Managers as needed and assist with analysis thereof.
  • Work with the Region Leader to proactively identify and implement ideas to help the Region to become more profitable.
  • Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of the office are current. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years accounting experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other technical teams.
  • Proactive, independent thinker possessing a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelorís degree preferred; will consider a combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry.
  • Experience using Deltek Vision software.
