DLR Group's Accounting team has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Location: Omaha, NE

DLR Group operates within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home.

Position Summary:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with Project Accountants to ensure accuracy of invoices and financial reporting. You will be responsible for project setup, accurate billing, and contract updates for the assigned offices. You will also compute, record, and verify numerical data to maintain accounting records.

The successful candidate will:

  • Setup, review, and update billable projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Review Monthly Unbilled report and research any problem projects.
  • Review Monthly Budget Check Report and correct as necessary.
  • Review AR Ledger monthly and research any oddities.
  • Enter/Post Cash Receipts for your assigned offices.
  • Assist employees and clients by answering questions related to accounts projects, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices.
  • Ability to think critically and resolve complex issues independently, ability to take initiative on strategic issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an accounting function.
  • Experience using Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint software.
  • Experience with a consulting A/E firm in an Accounts Receivable function.
